12/01/2011There is a PENGUIN in the OFFICE!If you have had a chance to walk through the Corporate office in Saco Maine you may notice a new addition to the entry way glass table. Standing at an impressive 10 inches tall the silver penguin has begun to attract attention. Some of you may be asking yourself at this time what is a silver penguin and furthermore why is it at Sure Winner Foods? So, here is a little background information for you. The National Frozen and Refrigerated Foods Association or NFRA awards Silver Penguins to companies and employees of companies that create phenomenal ice cream and novelty display cases that fuel excitement in customers and increase sales. Sure Winner Food’s very own Jeff Dorais, Sales Merchandiser Eastern Division, was recently awarded this prestige Penguin for the June/July Ice Cream & Novelties Display contest for the Northeast. Jeff’s work on a three door end cap at the Walmart in Sanford Maine was creative, impressive, and most of all exciting! His hard work and display management fueled sales and generated zest in the ice cream aisle.
