Circle K Awards SWF Frozen Food Business

Saco, ME, October 19th 2011:  Circle K, Great Lakes Division, has agreed with Sure Winner Foods to have them supply their retail Frozen Food items into the 134 locations Sure Winner currently services for Ice Cream products.  Due to Sure Winner’s excellent service on Ice Cream, their partnership with Circle K in their Ambassador Program, and competitive pricing, Circle K decided to turn this portion of the business over to Sure Winner and grow their relationship with them.  Distribution of DiGiorno Pizza began the week of 9/19/11 with the rest of the business starting 9/26/11.  Sure Winner’s merchandising team has been out resetting the stores and ordering product.  We are very excited about the growth potential with Circle K.

Circle K is an international chain of convenience stores, founded in 1951, in El Paso, Texas, United States. It is owned and operated by the Canadian-based Alimentation Couche-Tard.  Circle K is the largest company-owned convenience store chain in the U.S, and second in overall number of U.S. stores to 7-Eleven.  

Sure Winner Foods was created in 1979 to become the complete, one-stop ice cream source for the state of Maine. Sure Winner Foods today has distribution warehouses in both Saco, ME and Syracuse, NY and carries a complete product line of over 2000 ice cream and frozen food items servicing ME, NH, MA, VT, NY and PA.
